Wow! Check out her arms!

Ok, not sure why I'm posting this, but this banner ad made me do a triple take.

Check out the shoulders on this woman!

I'm not jumping in to be contrary or throw an off-topic exception into the thread.... Your comment: I'd agree that emoticons (and gesture) are not language, Made me think that in the case of American Sign Language, emotion (non-verbal cues primarily in the form of facial expression) and gesture are ...

Hey there!

I really like your line work. Pardon my ignorance, but are these all your own character designs, or are some fan art?

Looks like you have worked at developing your art.

What kinds of projects are you working on / like to work on?

Thanks for sharing!

Three comments:

1. Their stuff looks really cool
2. Boris' mouth weirds me out ("Wait 'till they get a load of me!")
3. Way to go Boris! His wife is beautiful as well as talented.

It's not like going to a class / live model session, but it's not a horrible substitute. I can now horribly mangle models with charcoal...

Yeah. I'm not going to say that that is ideal. We took efforts to divide content in a logical fashion. When you actually use the software, the disk swapping is not that bad. As an alternative, a 3GB full install seems kinda whacky too.... Honestly, though, it was one of the concessions to a tight ti...

Hands down, Nermal.

Nermal is my favorite. I like Abe Sapien too. But, as I said, Nermal rocks!

Software I helped build...

Howdy. Not comics, really, but visual at least. 4 talented friends and I formed a little software company. I spent my summer (evenings and weekends and sleep time) working on an American Sign Languge CD product. I did the video shoots and much of the application coding. Mildly proud of the result. J...

Re: So you wanna be a stuntman?

I guess this is the thread to comment on the blog too... Greg, you evoked a really cool visual when you described Jesse Wayne bringing in his scrapbook. I am really amazed that so many people never take a single photo of themselves "at work". Doing what they do 40-80 hours a week. What a huge part o...

I kind of enjoy it. I heard they are doing some kind of weird viral marketing attempt using discussion forums on the Internet. Apparently, people who have no real interest in the community log on and post a leading comment about the quality of the show. I don't think that would work though. It's so ...

I love the Wacom for painting / coloring. Line work I have reverted to paper and pencil and pen.

Tried drawing with the tablet, and still do sketchy stuff, but, I'll be damned if can draw a circular circle with the tablet.

I like having the pencil originals too.

I've been writing and rewriting an adventure comic kind of thing for ...years now, in what little spare time pops up. I like it a lot better now, but, yeah. It always feels like it should / can be better. The first arc is 35 pages, movie script format. I am about to start breaking it into panels and...

Hey Scott! Ok, thoughts as they came: You might mention how the comic will be publicized and in what ways the artist will be given credit. This may be attractive to an artist seeking exposure as well as paying contract work. Do you want the original art? (ie the paper and pencil). May be covered in ...
