Yeah, I saw that.
I also had Shannon Wheeler drop me an email about it. He thought it was pretty funny. That was cool.

I knew a good tutoral once that showed you, but I read it as long time ago... This might be hard to follow since we dont have pictures, but here's how I do it: After finishing my coloring, I reduce my image to it's final display size. Say, 300x 400 pixels. Then, I use the text tool and I type direct...

Much like my webcomic, I'll probably do a review when I'm not busy talking about myself... though weekly is the plan.

Re: 12 Hour Comics Day
So what exactly is this challenge? Making the same number of pages/panels, but just in 12 hours? In any case, best of luck with it. *does a quick commemorative dance I'm just being facetious. Normally it's 24 Hours Comics Day where artists kill themselves by seeing if they can produce a 24 page com...

Nah, it's the same one available in North America with a Korean price tag on it. But I was surprised to see it. I also came across a couple of Love And Rockets volumes, Shutterbug Follies, This Modern World books, and In The Shadow Of No Towers. Titin, Asterix... all lumped in with XMen trades, and ...

They Call Him "McCloud Ajushi"
Just thought I'd mention this: I picked up a copy of Understanding Comics here in Korea today for 27,000 won... And it wasn't a Chinese-made bootleg!

I dont think I'm going out on a limb by speaking for the rest of the staff, but even though we are kinda bummed that we had to close shop, we're also proud that we brought a lot of comics to people's attentions. So please, go read it, enjoy it, and remember that there is always room for this sort of...

This is a case of MSIE doing something it really shouldn't. ALT parameters are supposed to display when the image can't (such as a broken image link or when using a screen-reader for the blind), not display tool-tip help. Fortunately, there is a solution which will work: Use the TITLE parameter ins...

You made my face hurt. I had the same reaction. Page 12 onward seemed rather Frank Miller in that respect. Damn! Cursed with praise! :D I wonder if I can ask Jessica Alba to star in the movie version? wh00t! Casting couch! BTW, I got some bad foodpoisoning today and now I'm on enough meds to fill a...

Around page eleven I became a little worried. I was thinking that this is a little lite for a IAG chapter. Well, in truth, the idea of drawing a comic where Icon begs for, and eventually gets, sex was far more daunting than drawing what I did. Not that I'm against the idea of sex in comics. I just ...

Pretty entertaining stuff. Some random thinking: I like the technology and everything, but so far what I've seen produced for it (and the Infinite Canvas program) are every bit as experimental as the display methods themselves. So I've been wondering if people would be willing to use it on plain-jan...

Re: as eclectic as it gets
The question is: why is that? Is north american audience just not interested in looking more into anything that's not so self centered? Because in North America, a very, very, very small percentage of people still read comics. Comics are a niche market now, much like making velvet elvis paintings. ...

I Can't Stop Thinking!
http://www.scottmccloud.com/comics/icst/index.html I was going through the archives of these, and I was just wondering if any of you think things have changed in the... four or five years since they were produced. Has anything become dated? Laughable? Or does it still hold up today as eternal web-wi...
