The Hutchinson Center in Belfast, Maine -- part of the University of Maine system -- is going to be hosting my 5-day storytelling seminar over Columbus Day weekend, Friday to Tuesday, October 11-15.

...or you can just call: (207) 338-8002 for more info.
The seminar is five days, 6 hours a day (9 am to 4 pm with an hour for lunch). It focuses on a wide range of comics storytelling principles and techniques. Each day features 1 to 1 1/2 hours of lecture and discussion, including close readings of various comics, followed by hands-on exercises and detailed group critiques.
Availability is limited to 20 students. This is the seminar I first developed for the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in July (that class and then a second week sold out quickly). Both weeks were tremendous experiences for all of us and I'm looking forward to jumping back in.
All styles of comic art are welcome. Whether you're interested in comic books, graphic novels, comic strips, webcomics or mini-comics, there are storytelling dynamics that serve as the foundation for all of them -- and that's what we're going to explore for five days in October.
Hope you can make it out. It'll be at the height of New England's Fall colors. And I'll bring donuts.

[Minor corrections: The Hutchinson web page above lists me as having "taught courses" at Harvard, MIT and the Smithsonian. Not quite. I *will* be teaching this Seminar at MIT in January, but the other two were actually speaking engagements. Also, I'm a regular contributor to Computer Gaming World, but the multi-page comics I did for Wired, PW and Nickelodeon were one-shots.]
