Post by BuckBeaver »

Just thought I would post and share a recent article from Pulse about Melonpool's Steve Troop (which I'm a fan of) and his recent 24 hour comic:

I rather enjoyed that comic. I think there is something to be said for his method of attacking the problem. Writing the story, then doing the art. The rambling stream-of-consciousness-type 24 hour comic has its charm, but a little bit of a structure is nice too.

One thing I've noticed about 24 Hour comics is it is very hard for artists to resist including the panel or page describing their disappointment in the comic they have just produced.

me too, the punchline at the end of the comic really sold it for me.

Yeah I've noticed the same trend, but...

*WARNING: BRAG MODE IN EFFECT*

I didn't do that in my 24hr comic: http://krislachowski.250free.com/TPpt1.html :D

EDIT:
I just looked to the left and realized I now understand comics! 8)
