Hey all, I just put up a choose your own adventure-esque comic on my site. It's like "Choose Your Own Carl" but with only one beginnning and one ending. It follows our hero, Grover, through a day in the life. I figure if I'm gonna advertise it anywhere, it ought be here. It's supposed to be funny.

You can view the whole thing at once (~ 3 MB), or it one panel at a time.

Edit: changed links to point to new locations .

Wow! This thing is huge! I didn't quite appreciate just how big a structure you'd made until I zoomed out. You must have more then 150 panels here.

When did you start working on this?

Thanks.

There's 170 panels all told. I started on it last January. It was pretty off and on working on it, finished a couple weeks ago. These's a "zoomed out" page here though it uses the same images, just squished down, so it takes just as long to download.

That is really impressive. It's going to take me a while to look through all of the variations.

Great job!

Well, it certainly lacked adventure. Made me smile, anyhow. A day in the (lack of a) life of slacker college students.

I really enjoyed your art style, too -- clean line...distinct, pleasant color-schemes...anthropomorphic dogs (frankly, those are the only kind I can stand). I look forward to any other experiments you may put out.

Thanks guys.

And while it's certainly not very experimental, but I relaunched my comic today, finally throwing off the shackles of the newspaper strip format. Hopefully it'll let me do stuff like this on a regular basis in the future.

Worth pointing out (though I'm sure Adam already knows) Kevin Pease has seen fit to bestow his (belated) September "Smart Move" award on Choose Your Own Lack of Adventure! Cool.
