I've added a new feature to the <a href="http://www.geocities.com/comicmetaphysi ... html">home page</a> of my comic, <i>Desiderata</i>, which I'm calling "E-comic Spotlight."
Basically, every week, I post a link to, and a couple short comments about, an online comic. After that week is up, I'll save past links and comments in a permanent archive.
I've been checking out many more web comics than normal lately, but I'm still probably missing some real gems, so, if you create or read a comic that you think is worthy of the tiny bit of extra exposure I could give it, post a link here or <a href="mailto:comicmetaphysic@yahoo.com">e-mail</a> it to me.
Incidentally, Damonk's <a href="http://framed.keenspace.com/">FRAMED</a> is the first week's E-comic Spotlight.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I checked them out ages ago when he first posted, then again yesterday when I saw the article on <a href="http://cbr.cc/">CBR</a>'s new hypercomics feature, <i>Sixgun</i>. I think I may give e-merl the spotlight at some point.

I'd like to recommend my own comic, <a href="http://castlezzt.net/spongy/">House of Stairs</a>. Currently distinguished by total discontinuity and each strip having one more panel then the strip of the day before (Today's strip has 16 panels at the time I post this), but things will change as time goes on.
And uh, it's really good.

Now that's a coincidence- I had noticed CBR's new hypercomic feature, but had't clicked on it since it advertises that it won't commence until Thursday, so I didn't even put two and two together to know that it was the same guy! Good for him- He definitely deserves a wider audience.

I'd like to recommend FRAMED! -- it's a really coo.. oh wait, you already did!
Thanks for that, BTW!
What are you looking for exactly in a comic, Max? Innovation? Funny? Art? Writing? Kim Ch'i? All of the above?

All of the above, plus anything else you might think is cool.
I have to find something likable about it, so there ought to be some level of quality and/or idiosyncracy about it, but I would like to put all kinds of comics in the Spotlight. It doesn't matter how specific or general the target audience is, as long as it's good comics.

You can check out my "Pre-Structuralist Funnies" cartoons at http://members.home.net/theennead/psfunnies/index.htm . Not to everyone's taste, but maybe you'll enjoy 'em.

Wow! I really like these. It's a wonder I've never run into a link to your site before.
I saw your 24 hour comic listed in Scott's big index, but the link didn't work.

I've got assorted comics on my site <A HREF="http://www.strongmanpress.com/index.htm ... ess.com</A>. The most extensive and ongoing one is True Loves, but there are other self-contained and in-progress projects there too.

My comic is up. I will add more features to the site itself, and the current comic will grow in length, but the basics are there now ready to view. The first link is for the English version, the second is for the Japanese language version.
