interesting. really BIG. I like the sort of eerie effect that the art has.
In terms of effect, it is really great. Though I wanted to make the comment that maybe the dark lines around the eyebrows could go if you were trying for a more painterly approach. Actually, I like the effect that that dark line gives, but I was just thinking that some people might have a problem with it. I generally tend to like pretty much anything far out just because of the intense feeling you get looking at something different. But at the same time, some people are of the opinion that if you try to draw "realistically", you should take it all the way. In other words, style improvements could occur, like the dark lines around the eyebrows on the second page and some of the modeling on the arms and such. (It's really just a matter of being stricter on yourself and spending more time practicing.)
Other than that, pretty cool! I really enjoyed looking at it!

the horses look really cool. And I also really like that cool brown outline around some of the forms, like the horses, the woman's profile (on the panel where she says "...the horses are ready to go"), and especially the panel where the line describes the difference between the dark and light areas on their bodies. It is a really cool technique.
