Is anyone going to the Pittsburgh Comicon in April? I live in Pittsburgh and thought that I would try and find out if I can meet anyone in reality.

Comicon
Excellent! Lots of very talented people! So many in fact, that all I bought was indie stuff. I haven't finished reading it all yet, but there were some real gems there.
Got to see the Welcome to Eltingville Pilot, hosted by Evan Dorkin. If you haven't seen the pilot, find it! Try Ebay or your local video downloading site. Evan is as funny in real life as his comics are.
Found out that Jason Lex of Aweful Science Fair (www.opi8.com) has moved back to Pittsburgh. I'm going to try to see if we can connect. (It will be nice to talk to someone about online comics, in real life.)
Spent a lot of time hanging out with Chris Watkins, of Borderwalker.com. We spent lots of time talking about online comics, what directions that we want to go, etc.
The con really got me motivated to do comics again. While I've been enjoying the low pressure sketch-a-day, I think that it's time that I started doing comics more regularly. In fact, I think that I have a good idea for a daily, I just need to get far enough ahead.
The only that I wish that I would have done at the con was talk with DJ Coffman. I kept meaning to get over there but I kept stopping to talk with people, or flirt with goth grrls.
All in all, an awesome con and worth going to next year.
