First Post
Seeing as I just joined ZWOL, this is my first post--so keep in mind that I may not yet be very good at critiquing others' comics. But I'll try my best.
I haven't been regularly frequenting your site, so I had to read a couple of the strips preceding and following the February 28th strip in order to get a good idea of what was going on. I'm pretty sure I "get it" now, though.
First of all, I like the idea of a daily comic strip highlighting a girl's war against aliens whose existence is apparent to only her. Since I've only read like 6 strips, I don't know whether or not you've made it clear that she's either crazy and just seeing things or that the aliens are, in fact, real. However, either way works. (And if you haven't made the distinction, that's good too, because I think a little ambiguity keeps the reader on his or her toes.)
As for the Feb. 28th strip, I particularly like the way you handled the first panel. After first reading the entire strip, it seemed pretty clear that she was trying to commit suicide. However, after reading the March 1st strip and then reviewing the Feb. 28th strip, I realized that she wasn't just bindly jumping, but rather aiming for a certain spot, i.e. the alien enjoying a breath of fresh air. (I mean, shoot, who really yells "Geronimo" when jumping to their death?) But anyway, I like how that worked.
There are a lot of things I could comment on, but I figured I'd just highlight that one spot instead of rambling and, in turn, writing a friggin' English paper. But anywho... good job, congrats on a successful post, and keep up the good work.

READ ANVIL COMIX
*g* thanks a lot for the comment, Rm.
I'm glad you got the point of the strips. although maybe belatedly. the main problem with my pesky's seems to be people just don't get it *sigh*
it's not so odd if you realise I've been doing peskies for 2 years now, and am only now converting them into a coherent story.
I guess things just seem more straightforward to me then they really are.
it's good to know that it _is _ possible to follow the happenings if you just pay attention for a little while though.
