Two shadowed figures stand in the middle of the dried rutted road, ready to draw, as the towns people just watch the clock ready to hit high noon. One figure lights his cigar, the other stands alone, unnerved about what is to take place. The town clock hits, the bells ring, theguns drawn, and one is left standing, as the cigar’s light dims away. You’ll see only a silhouetted figure placing her smoking gun back in the holster, earning her wage. Welcome to the world of “Da’kota.”
She is tough as nails, carries a 1851 Navy Colt strapped on her thigh and then rides a raptor, into the sunset. Her name is “Da’kota”, a Amazonian Bounty Hunter of the 23rd century, a new comic book series published by What the Flux Comics, created and drawn by Terry Pavlet, written by Debra Joseph.
The book then received two awards for best new series and best female character.

REVIEWS:
Invest Comics
Terry Pavlet has brought back Da’Kota for old readers to enjoy, as well as introducing it to new readers It’s a brilliant move by Terry. As it shows he has some dedication to Comics fans out there. And I believe his creation of Da’Kota will rank right up there with other Comic Hot Ladies. And what I’m enjoying about this, aside from her being a bounty hunter who doesn’t stop is that she has a Velociraptor for a pet and it just happens to be her ride as well! The Dino’s name Coya. I just find that to be seriously awesome! I’m sure those of you who enjoy comics in black and white form will also like this title a lot as well. Living in a time where the Earth has changed drastically, giving a new take on dealing with interesting challenges. Such as a giant sand burrowing creature that Da’Kota totally kicks the butt of! And boy does that creature look like a “certain alien”. Terry Pavlet in this reviewers opinion has come up with a great concept, and having Debra Joseph along for the ride makes this even better.
I’m rather curious about someone named Cha’Kota who helped provide Da’Kota with the life she now has. I like when stories feature how mankind has been able to survive after radical changes in the Earth. Course it doesn’t help when Wealth turns one into a greedy person.
I love that there is aspects of Tribal Mysticism involved in the world of Da’Kota. I can’t wait to find out when she’ll get another chance with the Flying Jaguar Man! Or if she’s able to free him instead of having to outright kill him. Don’t miss out on Da’Kota folks! This title is definitely worth reading!
