Head #8 (print comic)

Post by gazorenzoku »

I hope no one thinks the lesser of me, but I wound up getting a short comic story published. A 4 page debut in "HEAD #8", from Eros comics, should be in stores in July.

You can order a copy directly from the publisher at:
http://www.eroscomix.com/

I'm sure any good online comics shop can get you a copy too...

And check my site for any updates:
http://www.vince-coleman.com

Warning: contains adult content.

SELL OUT!

:D

But seriously, congratulations, that's great.
I've never heard of that title. I'll be on the look out for it. Do you know of any online retailers that will have it?

SELL OUT!
Yeah, me and my huge $5 cheque. No just kidding, they are paying a fair sum, though I guess I can't really talk about it here.
But seriously, congratulations, that's great.
THANKS!!!!
I've never heard of that title.

I've never heard of it either! And living all the way over here in Japan, I can't just walk into a store and see what it looks like... I mean, until the issue with my story comes out, cause they'll send me a copy of that. But I have no idea what any of the previous issues look like.
I'll be on the look out for it. Do you know of any online retailers that will have it?
Online places that carry it? Hmmmm.... anywhere that can order from Diamond should be able to get it for you, since I imagine this is being released through the "regular channels".....

I'll do some digging on that and see what comes up...

It's going well
The url is:

I'm currently pencilling and inking, as my penciller is on hiatus for a spell, so it sort of slows things down. I hope to have a new page up on Monday, next week.

Keep up the great work, Vince.

Vince, I learned the news from your site the other day but never got a chance to congratulate you. I know that this is really something big for you and something you have been working on for a long time. While I have not heard of the various artist Head comic, I am familiar with Eros comics. I believe with some of your recent work you would be a great fit. Let us hope that this is the beginning of much more for you. I could not be more proud for you to be able to see your dreams come true. So the question is, is this a one shot deal, or should we expect to see more from you and Eros in the future? I know for the fact that they got on-going comics that have a lot worse story and art. Good luck and I will try to buy a comic when it is available.

first, cathy, cool site! cool inks! what do you use?

second, thanks david!! good ol david ano!! thanks.

yeah, it is something I have been thinking about for a long time. Thinking about, longing for, falling asleep in crying fits about, etc. Great to be into the gears of it now...

I've got another piece coming out with Eros this December or early next year, and another one after that that I am going to send them this weekend. I think it is the kind of thing where if I kept sending them stuff, they may eventually give me more and more work... So as soon as I finish this big illustration portfolio I am working on I plan to carpet bomb them with these little 4 page erotic stories. Look for me to totally dominate the whole adult section of all your favorite magazine shops by sometime mid next year!! Wish I could show my parents my big "debut"!! ha ha ha...

thanks!

by the way, about the portfolip: the designs for the book covers and stuff are dorky. I know. I spent most of my time on the illustrations, and just whipped up some stupid book cover illustrations really quickly. After I am done with all of the illustrations I'm going to go back and do cool designs for all the book covers....
