Decisions, decisions: webcomic or graphic novel?

Hello everyone.

I want to develop the characters I've created into a comicbook-type work, but me not being an artist or comic writer, I don't know which would be better - a regularly scheduled updated webcomic or a complete graphic novel done via kickstarter - for them. I honestly think my characters' adventures would work better in comics form than as simple stories.
