72 Hour Comic Day HAS FINISHED
Moderators: Scott McCloud, Moderators
done
Well that was anticlimatic. I finished in 64 hours. I left a little spot on one of the last pages to draw a picture of Scott McCloud being eaten by lizard men, just so I can save something to actually do in hour 72.
I guess I'll go do laundry now, and maybe get tomorrow's Gamer's Edge comic finished.
I wish my site worked.

I got mentioned on his site. That makes me feel special.
I am going to brake your legs.

Dude! I saw your site. We got the same faux-wood plastic flooring! And damn, did they ever bone you on the fridge.
Good job though. I'll send some ajummas over to scrape you up off of the floor in time for kindy tomorrow.
But I will admit that you've inspired me to do my own marathon:
12 Hour Comics: Cuz I Like Getting A Good Night's Sleep!
Coming sometime before I forget to do it.

Thanks a lot everyone!
William, I look forward to seeing the 12 hour comic. Maybe after I finish 96 Hour Comic Day, I'll start going down instead of up.
But then... my kindergarteners told me to calm down in class this morning (I was explaining the plot of my comic and it involved leaping over the table screaming 'LIZARD MAN!' and attempting to eat students.) so I guess going even longer isn't out of the question.
The snazzy faux wood paneling is a regular fixture here in Korea. And the floor heating is perfect for drying ink on comic pages, I've noticed.

My first apartment here was tiled like the whole place was a shower. The more upscale apartments have actual wood flooring laid over the concrete. I dont know how they're pulling the heating off... But the last two homes have been faux wood.RyanE wrote:The snazzy faux wood paneling is a regular fixture here in Korea.
Just an FYI, 96 Hour Comic Day is being postponed until later this year, as I found a more worthwhile way to spend my vacation than doing hourly updates about what kind of juice I'm drinking while drawing comics.
I'm heading to Thailand to help rebuild some of the Tsunami damage, and then making cartoons about that. Info is at www.ryanestrada.com

Wow, that is incredible.
That is an amazing thing to do.
I donated funds to the Red Cross, so, I guess I will pretend I provided the hammer and nails and feel a little good.
How very cool.
Have a safe and constructive trip!
