Seeking a Guest Artist

Hello! I'm seeking a guest artist for my comic book, Handknit Heroes. We publish 4 times a year and have a nice-sized and growing subscriber base. We market to yarn stores, because our audience is primarily knitters. In our first year, we've had a tremendous response from both the knitters and the crafting press. To say that Marc (our current artist) is a rock star among knitters would not be an understatement.

Our regularly-scheduled artist will be taking a hiatus from drawing for a short while. He will remain as art director to help translate from my version of a script into what an artist can actually draw.

This is a paid job.

Right now, the artist does his own coloring, but we are looking at hiring a colorer if the guest artist is unable or uninterested in doing it.

Please send a quote and some portfolio samples for your work on a 22-page fully colored and lettered comic book plus cover, as well as your quote for 22 pages + cover of art and lettering (computerized lettering is fine-- it's how we do it right now). Include your availability and schedule; we want to put out 2 issues between now and the end of September.
