Hi there. I’ve been writing a script for a manga titled Ravain University about students attending a school that teaches them to become magi, wizards who harness the power of the stars and contract entities from varies other worlds to fight against a vast number of supernatural creatures, as well as demonically possessed humans. I would like to acquire a mangaka to offer his/her talent to the story.
I’m not sure if the artists who access this site are familiar with Manga. To tell you the truth. I only just registered today, But from what I’ve read on the forums there’s not all that many. But manga is just a different style of art. I’m only putting “Mangaka” in the title because I'm a fan of Anime (Japanese Animation) which are adapted from manga. And when I'm writing the script I envision it as a manga, so it helps to know a thing or two about it while drawing it out. If your not familiar with such a style then it’s not required.
The only down side is I'm unable to pay for the service. I’m 21 and work part time at a comic book store and I give most of the money I make to my elderly mother. The best I can offer is a 50/50 deal. If the manga/comic sells - or makes some kind of profit over the internet - half the profits well go to the artist.
The manga's target audience is teenagers ages 16 - 21. Despite it taking place at a school it’s a rather gloomy story accounting the darkest points of human nature. There are moments in the script that contains Intense Gore, Ecchi and Yuri, but nothing outrageously over the top. I’m just adding this in so you'll know what to expect and know what you'll be working with.
