I am looking for a serious artist who wants to partner up for a 24 comic series and maybe more afterwards. We would start off by starting a web-comic, and networking it throu DA, Facebook, OpenDiary, and which other networking sites we choose, to build a fan base while we get several comics in the series done. Once we have 2 or 3 full comics done to our liking we will push to get it published. And hopefully finally be able to make some money off of it. If that fails self publishing is still an option until we generate enough attention that we can do get published.
The comic series in a mid-evil dark comic series. I need an artist who can do the line art and color. I will/have write the series and do up the story boards of what needs to be drawn for each page etc. I will build the webpage and use a dot.com and pay for it myself, so we can repersent ourself as best we can and get the most out of this. I will also do all/most of the leg work with getting published, since i have gotten a fantasy novel published before, i do have some knowledge on the process.
Again i am looking for a partner in this, someone who is in it for the long haul, someone who want to do something and shoot for something great and long term. i also understand that the artist does do ALOT of work in all the drawning and so i am more then willing if/when we get published that 60% profits to the artist 40% to me. I think that is more then fair.
