Hi there. I understand threads like this are a dime a dozen, and obviously some dude asking you to do free work with no guarantee of payment in the future while he types up a script in an hour just smacks of toolhood. But that's just how bad I want it, and just how hard I'm willing to debase myself, I will be that tool because I believe I can be published.
All I need is someone to make me look way better than I am. I have several scripts I'm working on, and several issue 0's to send out to see if you, the artist, would be interested in working with me. I like a somewhat unrealist style, and a couple of the projects I'm working on need downright trippy visuals.
The current project is The Waste, a barbarian dark comedy about a man searching for a meaning to life at the end of the world, along with all sorts of barbarian hijinks, deposing kings, terrorizing villagers, that sort of thing, all in his 86 Cadillac DeVille. If that doesn't pique your interest, I have all manner of trippy sci-fi, supernatural horror (set in the American Dustbowl), weird stories about butterflies and a mayfly war, or numerous other things. I'd work best with someone with a good sense of the capital-W Weird.
I also have a strict principle of the artist getting paid more than the writer, so any backend payments would be split 60-40, your favor. Just saying.
