Looking for a team of people for an animated cartoon

Post by shukydurn »

I am currently in the beginning stages of 3d cartoon animation.I can create and animate cartoon characters with sceneries and all but thats it.I don't know how to write a story and my voice isn't good enough even with a voice changer to be used as a character voice.I need someone or a group of people that can come up with a good story. After the story has been created then I will need character voices. It would be good if while writing this story you also visualized what the characters looked like.I don't really care about what the story is about as long as it is good and kinda short. On the intelligent level it would be nice if it was as intelligent as lion king or better. Not looking for a story that a 5 year old is going to like but rather one that a mature person would like.I would kinda like to stay away from sci-fi but am open to anything else.
I would like the first cartoon story to be pretty small in length and then move into something bigger next.
It would be nice to have a team kinda like walt disney studios just a smaller number of people.
What I bring to the table is character animation so if you have any skills that would help us please feel free to contact me.The creation of this cartoon would rely heavily on the opinions of the team members
Theres alot more I would like to say but not real good with words.
Please let me know if you are interested in joining the team or have any questions.
Thanks

i have a free program called Plastic Animation Paper, for animation projects, but i can't make anything really viable for entertainment purposes.

anyway, what i planned to use it for, was to make new episodes of an 80s cartoon show, called Tigersharks(same studio as Thundercats), and submit a sample to Warner Bros, for possible consideration of re-broadcasting the show again.

can i send you rough frame drawings, to help out?

Writer looking for the same thing you are.

Post by arkhein »

Hello, I am a writer in search of the same thing you are, a team of individuals to bring my stories (some of them short, some not so short) to life. In the interest of not wasting your time I will point you in the direction of a few of them and hopefully you can add me to the team. I can also write up a short story if you would rather me do that. I can do voices and I have a few guys (and girls...maybe) who can pitch in, as well. Hope to hear from you soon.

Horror Short

My friend (and roommate) Jon Lee has a short story that he created for the HP Lovecraft competition. It's very good...and simple. If you're looking for something that is kind of "Shadowy"...with very few characters you might give him a shout.

Check out our webcomic too. www.narssica.com

Contact info is on the site.

My roommate is Jon Lee.

I'm Jameson.

Good luck on your project.

without a wacom tablet, im pretty much useless to make higher-level graphic frames. thanks for the encouraging thought, though.

All I do is write. I specialize in dialogue and moving stories forward. I also have a theater arts background and various voices come naturally to me.

I have already begun writing a series of stories. They were intended to be graphic novels but would be ideal for animation.

My scripts are generally short, complete stories.

my e-mail address is crustlives@gmail.com

Get in touch if you'd like to read some scripts.
