Need gag strip artist -- will pay...

Post by MaxLeech »

But I'm looking for REASONABLE prices -- reasonable meaning that although the market sucks for artists right now, but the market sucks even worse for writers and strips in general. The deal is that I will pay for your work, you will assign all rights to me. Most important: your style needs to match what I have in mind. Second most important: maturity, proven professionalism, someone who will provide timely and high quality work, who meets deadlines, and who shows a propensity for longer term commitment. Someone who thinks this could be fun. This will be published at least on the web.

I'm looking for exaggerated, funny characters, simple line art, but not kids' stuff. Not superheros or amine. I have the characters and general concepts -- you can make them look funny. This should be simple work for a talented artist, maybe you can use this oppportunity to pay for your supplies for more challenging work. If interested, tell me how to get in touch with you and, if possible, link me to samples of your work.
