Need letters for free??

Post by JMeinhardt »

I am looking to expand my portfolio/experience with lettering. I want to offer my services for free to someone, especially if they are looking for a 5-7 page submission. I am good, but just need to build my experience level, thus the price. If you don't like the work when I am done, you haven't wasted your money, and you can toss the file I send in the bin. So let me know if you want to collaborate on something. As an added bonus, I am a writer and have a degree in English Literature from UC Berkely, so I can proofread well! :)

Thanks for the referrals

You know, digital webbing wouldn't let me keep my account because I didn't have a facebook account? I understand they are trying to avoid spammers, but some folks just don't like facebook, or other social media sites. I am a person even if I'm not on facebook!!!! Don't know if that rant was required here..

Thanks for the links. I'll be looking for many more to work with if people are willing to give me a shot!

Well I've sent a 8 page short to an interested artist yesturday and am waiting for his approval for work to begin on this short peice that will be submitted to an anthology. I will be needing a letterer for that.

It's a medieval fantasy set in Celtic Brittany. If your interested let me know it just rests on as and when the artist can start the work so it might not be right away.

Anyway let me know.

Regards

Sounds cool. Celtic works gives me all sorts of fun things to do with calligraphy etc. When you get a couple pages back from the artist, let me know maybe I can take a look at it.
