now that the dirty business is out of the way let me get right to it. Ive been here before and I'm hoping this will be last time i will be here. Im looking for an individual to work with or people. Ive got a comic book that the world needs to read, and read it they will. The first artist I found was an all in one package(lucky me). He could pencil,ink and color his own work as well as letter. When the project was about to start, he left citing heavy work schedule as the reason. He was a cool dude and everything he did for me I will forever be grateful. Then came guy 2 another cool dude who helped me out a lot but because of health problems just went awol. 3rd guy was a student he was cool with collaborating and what not but when i asked for his full details so i could write up a contract. POOF he disappeared and I was back to zero.
So after much thought, researching and perusing the internet I have decided to make this offer to the 4th guy/guys. I need a collaborator, someone who doesn't mind working hard and will help me raise this baby of mine. I need a person/people that can help with character designs, sequential art, colors etc. What you get out of this is a piece of the pie a large one at that. I don't mind sharing, I would like to get a kickstarter going or indiegogo campaign.
Ive got plans for this project of mine BIG PLANS, starting off with a comic, vinyl toys, a game and if the world doesn't end soon will like a animation made about it think afro samurai, meets black dynamite. Anyway more details about that to be told to the person/persons I will be working with. The name of my project is "FAT NINJA" and here is the synopsis.
Synopsis
A good for nothing lazy pizza delivery worker is given a medallion under the premise of being the last member of a ninja clan this turns his life turned upside down when he finds the triads, a clan of assassins led by a an immortal dude as well as two robbers who are normal by day, psychotic and insane professional thieves by night.
The kind of artwork I'm going for is CHEW meets LUTHER STRODE meets SHANK. Something like that.
Payment
I can only offer money on the backend. That is why I want a collaborator/s, Ive realized money for hires concentrate too much on the money because they have nothing to loose. Hence me having lost 3 artists already and currently being nowhere with my project. So heres what you will be getting, working with a cool guy, getting a percentage of money from comic sales, vinyl toy sales, game sales and eventually a tv show.
