Hi I'm looking to start a new project and am hoping to find someone interested in being a co-writer. The story I have in mind is an action adventure story about an angel like society that is attacked by humans igniting a war. The story focuses on a young boy with a legendary weapon that can transform into any weapon the user desires and each different weapon comes with different attributes.
I'm also looking for an artist to illustrate the comic. I don't have a set art style in mind just looking for something that is to put it plainly badass.
If interested please leave a reply or contact my email tdjulian@hotmail.com
Thank you for your time.

advice
It's very hard to get one's first project off the ground, trust me I've been there. But you're going to need to be more detailed. You have a nice start but I'm left wanting a bit more detail, because as it is the concept is a bit on the underdeveloped side. I know that a lot of writers are afraid of getting their ideas stolen, and I admit it can happen. I personally think it's worth the risk to make your full pitch in front of the internets. I would also like to know why you need a co-writer. You often seem to feel you have inadequacies that need compensated for, know that there are a lot of writers out there and if you're looking for a particular strength you should ask for it. I know once I had a comic pitch out there and asked for a historian of any kind. Believe it or not I got one haha. All you need to do is ask.
Well I wish you the best of luck on your project. However do note that the easiest way to get a project around here are paying and offering to join an artist's own project. Write a treatment, link to it, and maybe you'll get a lot of attention. Took me five years, but when I ask for an artist I often get what I need. Don't expect a masterpiece right away, let yourself cut your teeth on your first work. Note that this is the first step to amazing things ahead.
Sincerely,
Ruyei

Hey Ruyei thanks for the advice I really appreciate it. I'll definitely add some more details. And the reason I wanted a co-writer is because I think that having another person's perspective and ideas will help create a more interesting story. I've found that some of the best work is done in teams.
I could also use help with panel descriptions.

Ruyei is of course the man and dead on with his advice.
Sounds like you are looking for an editor, not a co-writer. There are plenty writers on here that offer editorial service, some paid up front, some not. I have actually been added to projects as an editor, in addition to creating my own.
Best advices I could add... before you seek out a writer have a detailed "bible" of your story, characters, setting, plotting and if it's not going to be a one-shot issue, have a couple issues done already. Artists appreciate a lot of detail and development for their design. And more scripts gives the artist a chance to get sucked in, hooked and invested in the story (if the story is indeed compelling).
Other places to find artists, deviantart.com and digitalwebbing.com (though they aren't as friendly there).
