Artist looking for Comic/Manga Writer

Keep in mind that I originally have a comic book style. That doesn't mean that I don't have manga influences, because I actually do. I love manga and comics both equally.

My writer requirements( sorry if I sound arrogant) :
I know that my art is nowhere near professional or anything like that. Because of that I am always striving to improve. So I thought what better way to improve my passion and challenge my drawing ability( anatomy, backgrounds, storytelling, etc.) than to work on a comic/manga story with a writer.
I will still practice my art in my sketchbooks but adding a comic/manga project to my curriculum will be fun and help my art as well.

The Plan: I don't necessarily draw in the manga style as I said before, but I actively log in to inkblazers.com (a web comic website that publishes both manga and comics but is more popular with manga users) and want to publish this comic there, or anywhere else if I can.

I do everything traditionally, and I can do color for the chapter covers. However I want to be in charge of the art . Meaning that I can, if the writer wants me to , draw the speech bubbles, but want the writer to take charge of the digital lettering and design as well as being the one who updates the pages into the website or wherever we decide to publish.The writer doesn't have to do storyboards if he or she doesn't want to.

I'm really into any kind of story one that challenges my art would be best. I love every genre , though I do have a crush on horror, but as I said before I love everything even straight up shounen style


Finally, I will give priorities to the writer, who I feel is most passionate and has what I consider the best story proposal.

Bonus: Because I am an aspiring comic book artist I have an interesting proposal. If the writer is able to ink my work ( I don't care if all you do is trace it digitally) . I will most likely go with you unless your story sucks :biggrin: I feel that in this way we will be able to get more pages done .
But that doesn't mean that its guaranteed . so even if you don't ink that's fine please contact me anyway
