This is an exert from a project I'm currently working on.

PANEL 1
Late Afternoon - JASLYN RUIZ is standing in the parking garage where JOURNEYMAN and GADGET arrived. She’s got her camera in hand and is taking a picture of the scorch mark that still remains – someone has attempted to remove it.
JASLYN (CAPTION): Strange things have been happening.
JASLYN (CAPTION): Not just here in the city.
PANEL 2
JASLYN has come out of the parking lot and is looking up at the sky.
JASLYN (CAPTION): But, all over the world.
PANEL 3
This panel is three images fading into one another. The first is; A woman in outside of a New York Hotel, she’s fading away (turning invisible). The second is a behemoth of a man, he’s barreling through a desert in Iraq. And the final is a fuzzy image of what appears to be some kind of huge ball of energy, inside the body of a person is just barely visible.
JASLYN (CAPTION): Everywhere, things are getting stranger and stranger and no one seems to give a damn.
PANEL 4
JASLYN is talking to someone on the street. They’re obviously blowing her off.
JASLYN (CAPTION): People used to have things to say about it.
JASLYN (CAPTION: Now it’s as if no one wants to remember that something weird happened right here at home.
PANEL 5
JASLYN is looking down the street. We can see the ENKI TECH building in the distance.
JASLYN (CAPTION): The official story is an electrical surge – lots of bulbs busting all at once, they say.
PANEL 6
JASLYN is looking back at the parking garage sign.
JASLYN (CAPTION): That’s just what they say about this – that’s they’re ridiculous story for lights so bright people thought a Nuke had went off. That’s what they used to tell me anyway.

JASLYN is in her car and driving down the street. She’s decided to head to another location.
JASLYN (CAPTION): A nuke…
PANEL 2
JASLYN has arrived at her second location. It’s where IAN and QUINTON were abducted from.
JASLYN (CAPTION): Then they turned around and told these people they hadn’t seen a UFO.
PANEL 3
JASLYN is looking up at where the JO’LUN was.
JASLYN (CAPTION): Weather balloons…
PANEL 4
JASLYN is taking a picture of tire marks on the street.
JASLYN (CAPTION): Can’t even grace us with a decent cover story.
PANEL 5
JASLYN is on the roof of one of the buildings in the area. She’s looking in the direction that we saw the EYE head in. Far off in the distance we can see the heads of behemoth machines in the Anacostia River – Cranes meant to drop the twin DOLPHIN-9 ( these are fairly large themselves ) automated submersibles into the river later today.
JASLYN (CAPTION): There were two UFO’s that night. Someone told me, when people were still answering questions, that they’d seen both craft go down.
PANEL 6
JASLYN is back in her car and driving in the direction of the behemoth machines.
JASLYN (CAPTION): One in the Anacostia, and the other an abandoned warehouse near the Navy Yard – a warehouse that, of course exploded because of a gas leak.
