Artist seeking work: collaboration with Writer

Post by Nschultz »

Hello all!

I am an aspiring comic artist, mangaka, book illustrator, and designer. I really want to draw for a children's book or draw a comic. Please leave a comment if you are interested! Here is my Deviantart page: http://nschultz.deviantart.com

Thank you for reading!

If you're still looking, I'd be down to make something. I've been searching for an artist for quite some time now to create a comic with.

Hi, I represent a comic company that is on the lookout for artists ... we have several projects in the queue and we'd like to see if you'd be a good fit for one.

(Before another member pipes in and claims that what I am offering is "for free," it is not. We are currently operating with a back-end-percentage compensation model, however, we fully expect to be able to pay a reasonable page rate quite soon. Let's discuss it.)

Please send samples to my email account, bdmenard@gmail.com, as I am unable to go to the DeviantArt site from my office.

Thank you,
Brian

which do you want to do more? childrens books or comics? publishers that do childrens books pay artists way more than any other type of book, not sure why but they do. generally you would do 1 illustration per page but it depends on the age range you want to draw for and if you want to draw for teens you can get into more complicated stuff like graphic novels etc.
