SEARCHING FOR NOIR ARTIST FOR COLLAB

Hey, y´all crazy addicts to creating nice shit. I´m a writer seeking for a new companion on arms on a new project I have on mind.

Here´s a little overview of what the story is abot:

THE SIMPLE ART OF MURDER

Philip Conan, half rehabilitated drunk, divorced before his mid-thirties and private eye; drinks a nice cold beer on “Josie´s”, his favorite pub, when a tiny scared man hires him to follow his wife. “Nothing out of usual” Conan thinks while he gives another drink to his beer.

Next morning Phil wakes as early as his lazy habits allows him to, takes a cold shower and a hot cup of coffee and gets ready to work.
He follows the wife all day to her kid´s school, to work, to the coffee shop and back to her home again. He meets with his employer that night and tells him all he found: His wife needs a life. That was just a waste of time.

Next morning the routine is almost the same. School, work, coffee shop… and then… a lonely hotel nearly forgotten by God.

Bingo!

After some minutes a good looking chap, a chap who looks exactly as Cary Grant would if he had born two decades ago, arrives and knocks at her door. Conan takes his camera out, expecting to get some passionate pics to show his employer, but he couldn´t be more wrong about it.

There are kisses; there are caresses, there´s a gun, there´s a finger pulling a trigger and then there´s nothing more than silence and some cheap sheets stained of red.
Phil runs to his employer´s motel. Takes some seconds to vomit that morning´s breakfast and asks to the clerk:

“Can you tell me where the hell Arthur Hendry´s room is?" he asks.
"Hendry?"
"Yeah" Phil groans.
"There´s no Hendry here, but there´s a Talbot if it works to you." The Clerk says before Phil loses his calm manners and smashes the desk against the wall.

And is on this moment when the story gets interesting.


As you might see, I´m attemting to get a classic 40´s Noir Style, so someone who knows the genre would be amazing. I checked before on this site for another project (still on work) and I had the huge blessing of find a nice artist, so I have high expectations for this.

My plan is send the story to publishers such as Image and Dark Horse, so this will be a non-paid gig until after we get published, after that I would have no problem at all dividing 50/50 the profits, of course taking from there the letterer and colorist share.
