My name is Devan Miller, 18 living i phoenix Arizona. I have been working on my draft of my comic,"The Keepers" for 6 years off and on. I mostly draw certain scenes of my comic myself. But most likely am a writer and story teller.
Most of my comic relates to fantasy medieval/ modernized civivlazation. I need a manga artist that can replace my art and focus more over on my story. I can draw myself. but I'm more of a writer. Please free service, if we can work together than we can get bigger than start making money together
I recommend, since you have drawing skills, just going it solo. It's one thing to look for a writing partner, writing takes a lot less time and there's a lot more people jumping into the comic writing game and trying to write then artists offering their services. And when you do get a free artist, trust me, 7/10 times he or she is going to bail unless you can really hook them. If you can draw, milk that ability. Going it solo or with writing help will make things go FAR easier.
Also, if you're looking for partners TELL US what the project is about. We know nothing except genre, thus zero interest for a lot of the guys on here. Better yet, before looking for a post write a readable story bible about the core elements of your world, story, and plot, if not EVERYTHING that you'll ever put into the story. Saying "I'm a writer, I do fantasy, work with me" just doesn't cut it in an environment where artists are so in demand that a good portion charge a bundle.
