Writer seeking collaboration

Hi, all.

I'm just looking to make a comic for the fun of making a comic. Ideally I'd love to find an artist who'd be willing to collaborate on a story, I'd write the script, the artist would do the art, then I'd pay to get copies printed. I'd also be open to other types of collaboration.

I'm not thinking this is something where anyone would make a lot of money, I just want to make some comics. My main interests are dark superhero stories, crime, horror, and some sci-fi, but I'm flexible.

Introduce yourself! We know NOTHING about you, tell us specifics about some of your ideas, what you seek to accomplish in comics, and preferably links to writing you've already done. You need to sell yourself! Unless you're paying page rates you need to get people excited about working with you!

I guess I was just trying to leave doors open. I don't have a lot of specific ideas for this potential project because it would depend on whoever I collaborate with.

As for who I am, I'm a death metal musician who is also a huge fan of comics. I don't have any delusions of being a great writer or ever becoming a professional. I love comics and I love creating things, like music, so I'd like to put those passions together and see where it goes. I'm currently writing a horror comic with a bandmate, and I'm working on a cosmic superhero comic.

Mostly I just want to have fun.

I am an aspiring writer and artist who is in the process of creating a comic book probably an ongoing series, I have numerous characters and stories/concepts. I am making a compilation of these stories, the characters are like cartoon characters and the whole thing has an adventure, comedy, horror, scifi vibe to it, it's a unique genre, I also use various pre existing characters from pop culture, it adds another dimension to the whole concept, I also use quite a bit of social commentary to make it actually relevant to today's world.
