ARTIST UP FOR ANYTHING, REALLY.

Post by AverageEggplants »

Hello folks! My name is Average Eggplants. I am here to show you some of my art I have worked on and to hopefully be picked up by a writer or group or ANYTHING that has some use for my 'talents'. Some of my art ( mostly character designs) can be found here: http://imgur.com/a/h5Xzx
So as you can see, my style of drawing is pretty cartoony. But I hope that doesn't scare you from giving me somewhat dramatic plots to draw.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and if your interested in my assets please email averageeggplants@gmail.com

Tips

Post by Ruyei »

Here's a tip, a lot of writers are hungry for artists. Even if you aren't quite professional yet you have a very good chance of finding someone who's very willing to get a chance to work with an artist at all, and so the odds are technically for you but...it always helps to grease the wheel a little.

My advice, draw some actual comic pages and come back. I know as a writer I simply will not accept artists unless they have comic samples, so doing so will open your chances for opportunities and skilled writers. Also your portfolio from what I've seen is somewhat limited. It's not a bad idea to work in different genres and show some variety.

Sincerely,
Ruyei
