Do you want to work as a writer/artist?

Post by Telles »

If you are an comic book artist and do pencil + ink and sometimes even color, dedicate your pages to your projects and bid in Comixology, Kickstarter or look for another way. The writers here only want to take advantage of the artists, offering only free jobs or percentage of profits, but most do not even know where to sell. They are amateurs! The only job the writers have is to write bad stories and explore the artists. Value your work that makes a comic page and the time it takes. This forum was already good, I've been around since 2013, but today there are only explorers. If you take offense sometimes it's one of them.

Cheers!

I agree with you, my friend.
If going to work for free ... let's make our own publications.
Another problem is the artists who accept to work with these false promises. And artists who charge low prices. Devaluing not only them, but our whole class (artists).
That is why the explorers arise. They think comic artists make draw for fun. But it's our job.
Thank you for your post. Let's continue to open the eyes of the artists.
Because we have to value ourselves.
