Hey all, I'm gonna cut to the chase. I'm looking for a partnership with an artist, I have several ideas for a comic but no artistic talent whatsoever. Just some honest feedback, splitting 50/50 with an artist isn't the fairest thing. Considering the amount of work an artist has to do vs. what a writer has to do. So hopefully your share split is at least negotiable. Even Robert Kirkman gives 80%-90% of the back end to artists, as well as royalties and whatnot. I'm by no means saying artists are better than writers, I'm only thinking of the work load that's involved. This is just advice, not a rule. Good luck with your project.
