Hi,

My search for an artist has ended. Now I need a colorist and letterer along with some page rates. I'm in a bit of a crunch. The project I'm submitting requires project team names,positions,and email address.

Hi there Ricco! My name is Lucas Gattoni and I'm a graphic designer and comic book letterer. I'm currently working freelance for a company called Red King Press, but have nothing published yet (I'm working one of their monthly title, and for two stories from their next anthology title).

Still, you can check some of my lettering jobs on my portfolio page here.

I do all lettering digitally, being able to provide ready-to-print digital files if needed. My rates are around 10 USD per interior page, depending of course on the particular requirements of your project.

I'm sorry for this incomplete post. I got side tracked. I neglected to mention that this project is for a 10 page submission with payment on the back end. I'm new to posting here and am trying to get up to speed with how I present myself to you all. I understand to most here that payment up front is the preferred way on these boards.

That being said if anyone is still interested I'm still looking. I have an artist with great potential lined up. He's reviewed the first few pages of my script and is ready to go.

Hi all,
Thanks to all who have responded to the post. The artist and myself are a go,we are just finalizing our plans. The responses have been amazing on the colorist and letterer requests. I promise to respond to you real soon. I didn't even consider it would be a difficult task. Boy was I wrong.

I'm even going to say to the team I select. That if submission is for any reason rejected, all involved will still receive payment from me. I am by no means rich but I feel that if people are willing to take a chance on my scripts I should be willing to compensate you for your hard work. This may not be always be the case but I will try my best to see everyone get a fair shake.

This story is literally the first story in a much larger universe filled with mostly my own creations with a mixture of public domain characters. A long journey begins with a single step.
