A good time to contact a publisher about a submission?

Hey guys, I know this isn't about seeking a writer or artist, but after looking in the general discussion forum, it looks like it's full of spam bots (even worse than this one) so I didn't think I would be able to get a reply there.

So, I was wondering when is a good time after you have submitted to a publisher to contact them about the submission? Or is there even such a thing as a good time to ask them? I submitted to a publisher about a month and a half ago, and haven't heard anything back from them. Is now a good time to politely ask them about it, or should I give it a little more time? Or just forget it and submit to a different publisher?

Waiting is the worst...

I think a good way is to ask him, if you can keep sending sampls about a 2 or 3 month.
Don't forget that all publishers are full of work, so just keep calm and wait!!
But never stop drawing!!

Forget it and seek out new publishers.

If they really like your stuff, they'll contact you.
