Need Artists: Two Projects from Very Small New Publisher

Greetings,

We are in the need of two artists are art teams (pencils, ink, color).

Who We Are?
Project-Nerd Publishing is a brand new publisher building off the Project-Nerd name. We have some great titles out and around the corner and are eager to grow our brand quickly. Currently, we are funded out of my (Iggy) savings so we do not have a lot to offer in terms of pay.

Our rates are low and we can offset with some profit percentage. If you want a higher rate please understand we just can't afford it at this time until we get some more things established.

Project 1 - Task Force Max
We advertised for this before but the artist that was excited to work on it has disappeared and we have not heard from him in 3+ weeks.

This is a high action quarterly series with a team of four elite task force members taking on jobs the government can't handle. This is filled with action, mature themes, violence, and some nudity. About 20-22 pages per issue (4 issues written for 2017).

Project 2 - Barrens
Issue #1 was complete but the creative team had another opportunity came up and moved on. We want to build a quarterly series with these characters. It is a post-apocalyptic setting with a badass female as the lead. Gritty, drama/action series that will be an ongoing quarterly series.

Again, we are looking for pencils, inks, colors both projects.

Please understand we have a very high standard for what we want here and, again, we do not have Marvel or IDW level funds. Please keep that in mind when reaching out.

Thank you for the huge interest. At this point we have people lined up for these two projects but nothing is set in stone.

We have other projects in development and something might fall through so feel free to keep sharing your interest.

I am honest about where we stand as a company. We are new, funded out of my day job right now, and do not have a lot of money to offer. The rates are looking closer to $15-20 a page with a profit share offered. As we grow, we'll continue to offer more.

The Project-Nerd name is well established but the new publishing division is not yet. We will get there, I guarantee it, but for right now that is where we stand.

We hope to work with many of you, and if our rates are too low for you we understand and hope that there is opportunity in the future.

The rates are not for everybody and some might find them really low. But that's the beauty of it, nobody was forced to accept them and nobody has to work with us.

If we can get some projects rolling at that rate we may be able to start to grow our brand and pay more. If not, we put what we are working on out there to see if there was interest.

There's also an international market where people want to get US jobs done while that rate converts nicely into some currencies.

No harm though. Well, at least no harm to most, but I guess this thread did harm you. I want to deeply apologize that my open request bothered you this much. I hope you will be able to handle the days ahead even with this much damage caused.
