Serious writer looking for work with serious artist.

For the last few years I've shifted my writing from novels and lyrical forms into serious stories and graphic novel scripts. I recently picked up a version of Final Draft to make script writing much more productive as well. I've been looking in my local area for a comic book writer, but can't seem to find anyone that is willing to work on a serious book. I can't even get any of them to hear my ideas or look at a story! So I stumbled here and thought I'd try to find a serious one. I'm more into Alan Moore and Frank Miller toned stories with alot of morality and emotional substance rather then your typical story of hero saves world and gets the girl.
