I'm a writer who has had stories published by Alterna Comics, Ronin Studios and several other publishers and I'm currently looking for an artist to draw a 7-page comedy/superhero story that I have written. When the story is completed, I will be pitching it to publishers. I already have contacts at several companies who publish short stories, so there will be no problem in getting it published. There is no upfront pay - you will receive a percentage of profits, a published credit and some free copies of the issue in which the story is published.
Ideally I'm looking for an artist with a clean, animated style, something along the lines of artists such as Mike Allred, Eric Powell, Bruce Timm, Jeff Smith, Mike Wieringo, etc.
