Artist Seeking Work

My name is Matt Northrup, self taught artist with a background in both traditional style and digital work. In the the course of a couple of months, I was able to learn the finer points of Photoshop and Painter with little to no outside help (and my abilities are continuing to grow, as every artist's should). I'm looking for something that I can really sink my teeth into, something that will both expand me as an artist and expose me more to the comic industry. My style varies depending on the subject matter and demand, so I believe I can be quite versatile.
My work can be seen at

Thank you for any consideration.

Hi Matt,
I saw you work on your websites and was impressed. You're got some real talent
I'm a self-taught writer and am looking for an opportunity to continue practicing. I've been interested in pairing with an artist to produce a comic book for fun and was curious if you'd be interested in working together. Practice makes perfect, right?
I tend to prefer realistic settings, but with a bit of a fantastic element thrown in when called for. I like genres like martial arts fiction, horror, fantasy, sci-fi, superheroes, etc. and am open to new thing as well.
Let me know if your interested and I can send the you to links to several short stories I have posted on different forums.
Thanks!

Hello Matt,
Your work is quite excellent, my favorites being "My Little Mermaid" and "The Chair of Smiles". I have been writing for a long time, my specialty being dialoge and excellent characters; weakness being spelling. Examples of some of my work can be found here

I have no problem with any genre, but I do tend to lean to darker themes. As in this short story of mine
http://arkane-kumo.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d22hkpd is a good, but old example.
Judging by your work, I have a feeling that you might want to do a superhero genre comic. If you are I have already have a large group of characters, plots, and an interesting protagenist.
