Artist looking to collaborate with writer

Hello Everyone!
I’m an illustrator of many years experience looking for a graphic novel project.
I illustrated professionally the Green Hornet comic many years ago for the now defunct Now Comics. I moved on to 2D and 3D motion graphics and animation, and architectural visualization and animation for many years, leaving comics behind. I have been an art director and creative director for over 20 yearsI have always missed working in comics and wish to find a like-minded writer to produce a new piece of fiction with.
My website is:
druwoodard.com
Please check it out, especially the sketches & inks, and comics sections of the site.
I hope you find something you like.
I pencil and ink my own work. I mostly ink traditionally for the esthetic look, however I go back and forth between the drawing board, Photoshop, and Clip Studio Paint. I have a lot of fun working in this hybrid fashion, and am very opposed to inking my work digitally.
I’m not opposed to doing superhero work, but that market seems so saturated that it almost feels like a losing proposition before you ever get started.
My own personal tastes lean toward the more realistic, hard-boiled, noir of the Spillane, Hammett, Chandler schools of writing…
But my work will speak much better for me, I hope. Please check out my site, and I hope you like what you see.
I look forward to hearing from you.
All the best.
