Artist for short story(ies)...Free (good) work

i am interested by short story to build my portfolio on my free time and try to be more published. I am interested, so, in writers that can look by themselves to search anthology to be published in, with me. i'm not very good about that search for publishers.
I want to say that i work for free. if their is after some payback i'm in it, but i don't look after a pay from writer(s).
for now, because of time consuming, it will mostly be black and white work
