Hey all,
I am looking for concept artists to work on some characters, vehicles, etc. to build the world of an animated web show that I am starting up.
What the concept artist would do is make character sheets, have sketches and completed pictures of different vehicles, and pictures of miscellaneous items that I can then show to future animators so the show looks like the style created in the concept art. The concept art would also be used for promotional tools.
As for pay, there is no up front pay. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to pay up front. What I hope to do is get funding from Kickstarter.com. If funded, then I may be able to pay a small fee. This project isn't for people who are trying to make a lot of money, the truth is, it may not yield any profit. This is for exposure and to be apart of something that could be big.
The plan for this show is to create a seven episode season one, and then create more seasons if it is well received. I need to get a full team, and that starts with the concept artists. I already have a storyboard artist on board, one of (possibly) three voice actors, all the episodes of season one broken down, and I will be the writer.
If all the episodes are created and its well received, the plan is to make the dvds of the show and other merch like shirts, artbooks, etc.
If you are at all interested please send me samples of your work to david@sequentialgeek.com. Please understand that pay (if any) will be very limited and far off (probably after the creation of the show, IF there is any pay).
Again, my email is david@sequentialgeek.com.
Thank you all!
