Hi all
I'm looking for an artist with the ability to provide a specific style to work on one of two concepts.
I'm looking for either:
An artist to create a vast art deco/mechanical/metropolis style world - to work with on (at least) the first part of what I hope will be a long-running, original project.
Architecture, characters and atmosphere will be required, so there might be a bit of designing. Note there will be no more than 4 principal characters in the first part.
OR
An artist who can work with me to develop an attractive, classical pirate setting (lots of mainbrace and rum) from where we can take the primary character and follow her exploits.
I don't want to give too much away as yet, however samples of my comic strip writing can be found here:

For the sake of clarity, the projects feature completely new characters (give or take a couple of pastiches) in a unique setting and are not related to the strips linked to above.
Drop me a line via PMs or reply to this thread if interested.
Cheers
Christian Cawley

Reasons for joint ownership, 50-50 split
Just by way of an update, I'm still looking for an artist/colourist partner for these projects, each of which will form part of a much larger storyline and will need to be visually stunning (hence the split ownership).
With regards to the first project, I think this is a particularly unique storyline (albeit furnished with a recognizable intro tale) that would be suited to any talented artist looking for a good "first comic".
I have every intention of PODing the finished product and I have some good contacts here in the UK that I will be making use of.
The second project I see as featuring a lead character who is on the cusp of being iconic. With the right artist this character could be huge.
