Looking for artist

I have just sold an idea for series which I need an interior artist. The book is based in the Victorian era. This is what type of style we are looking for as in art, Gary Gianni, Paul Guinan, and Kevin O'Neil or something in that vein. Willing to look at beginners to pros, who are willing to follow directions from creators and must know what is a deadline is.
It will have horror, crime, famous people and some steampunk inventions. The book will be printed in B&W interiors, showing off artwork and storytelling. Have already gotten published author and published artist doing covers. All we need is interiors. It is a 3-4 book mini series @ 22-24 pages per book, that is "guaranteed" to be published and turned into trade. It is being written at this time.
It will be reviewed by the top comic, news and other websites, as well as being listed in Previews, so it will be getting a lot PR. The sad thing here, everyone is working on a backend deal for payment.
If this sounds something for you, send your work. Please just don't end pinups, sketches and covers. It should be B&W, but not necessary. I will answer all that have replied. No foreign studios apply. The creators and publisher will make decision for this project.
Can't wait to see your samples.

It seems that I have been somewhat confusing to some. Sorry.
What we are doing is a Victorian Age comic, in which we need an interior artist only, who can "capture the feel" of this time in history. The styles that were listed are "in the vein" and/or "capture the feel" of the Victorian Age. We are very open to seeing what you can come up with, in your vision. This is not a superhero, steampunk or cartoon type of book, more towards science and horror. We need to see sequential pages only, unless you have done covers with this theme. The book will be printed in black and white, no tones, just lineart, showing off your talent. A penciller that inks is preferred, but not necessary.
Again, willing to look at beginners, who what to break into comics, to pros, please give us a chance. No foreign studios. Keep sending in though samples.
Please let us know how long it would take you to do 22-24 pages of finished art and where are you located.

Do you have a page rate in mind for your artist? Or did you have another form of payment in mind?

We still haven't found the right artist yet, due commitment and style. No Manga or Anime. Please keep on sending those sample in, so that we can start.
The plot has murder, suspense, horror, detective story dealing in the world of the beyond, all during the turn or the century. We want to capture that feel into the art. If you feel you can, send in your work or site.
Send them to:

Similar to TannerArt's comment, you said no one is getting paid yet, but my question is, what is the intended payment? A page rate?

That will be determined privately with the artist, between the creators and publisher in contact form. The later payment is so that proper advertisement and printing costs get paid first, so that the retailers and fans (getting it into the hands of the people) can order book(s) for it to make any type of revenue.
Everyone involved thus far with this book has around 10 years or more experience in this industry on the right way of doing this. Right now, we are searching for the right talent, whomever they are.
Thank you-

This was closed due to hate and commentary email responses about how wrong it is being a back-ended payment deal and that I was a crook. Here I thought I was honest and upfront will this. I wish I could have offered more financially wise, but I can't.
Please stop sending email. You will be blocked. Sorry it had to be this way.
