Several Artists Needed for Universe Creation! Writer

Hello,

Aspiring writer here. I've been commissioned by Arcana Comics to create a 80 page graphic novel with another artist, and am looking to develop other ideas of my own. These are fairly well rounded ideas that inter-connect and I've been working on them for a few years. I'm working on the scripts for many at the moment, but all are plotted out for the first 50 issues at least, and I have plans spinning off from these also.

In summery, I'm hoping to create my own little universe for submission. Sadly, I can't pay at the moment, but in a month or so aim to able to contribute a small fee as a type of compensation. Again, this isn't a definite, and I can't guarantee that it'll be a big enough sum to live off or anything but I'm going to try.

As for the projects, I'm looking for five different artists; each with, as cliched as it sounds, they're unique style. I'm hoping to have the artists provide character sketches and designs also. Ideas follow, made as concise as possible:

1. A team book. Some mainstream type art, clean cut like Mike Chioi or something. The central theme of this title is humanity; created from the different species etc of the members composing the group.

2. A solo book. Tale of morality through the format of a spy thriller. Looking for a darker feel but not necessarily noir. A rough edged look like Billy Tan.

3. A solo titled title, but more of a team book. A sic-fi cop drama based on mystery and identity. Bryan Hitch type art.

4. Solo again, unique kinda art needed. Isolation and self-discovery are central; set in the Amazon, with darker and bloodier tones.

5. Solo. Gritty, noir set in Chicago set to show the frailty of life. Don't plan for this to last as long as the other titles. Maleev type art.

As douchey as the above sounds, I didn't develop the characters around the themes, but vice versa. I just thought themes might be the best way of supplying information without giving too much away.

If you are interested in any of the above, or would like to hear some more about them, please e-mail me at dbowen2@hotmail.com.

Thank you for your time,

Dan.
