Writer seeking collaboration/partnership with an artist

As an amateur writer, I am seeking a partner artist for completing a work. I prize myself as a rhetorician with a knack for constructing compelling utterances. I want to work with a potential partner in creating a collaborative work that manifests from both parties (the writer and artist).
So far I have written three manuscripts as a science fiction novelist (currently all three works are being edited). However, I want to try conveying a story through a different medium (graphic novel format rather than a novel format). So I am interested if an artist is interested in working on a creative, comedy, slice of life work that studies the delicate nature of "relationships."
However, I do not wish to labeled as the sole "creator" of this work. I want a collaboration so I want to hear what the artist would like to accomplish too. I would love to hear from someone.
