*Thanks to all the artists that responded to this post. I have chosen one of the artists that replied and work on this project has begun. Stay Tuned for "Risher".
And it's really good. After writing quite a few scripts, I truly believe I have the one that should be pursued. I have the script for the first issue (of what shoud be 18 total in the series) completed, as well as a synopsis, and character description sheet. The problem? No artist, and no funding at the moment to get one.
Yes, I am looking for an artist that would be willing to get involved for the prospect of future profit, which I would be willing to split 60/40 with the artist getting the larger portion. I keep the rights to my script, you keep the rights to your art, and together we see what we can do with this.
I don't want to give too much away here, but the story is about pretrnatural characters and how their actions effect things here in the mortal realm. I consider it to be along the lines Gaiman's Sandman, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac (to a lesser extent), and the like. There is some gore/murder scenes required, though never for the sake of gore itself. It does have purpose in the story, but most of the art will just be character based and requires having to embody otherwordly concepts as well jumping back in time with historical accuracy.
