Hey Svetlova, my name is David and I am a comic book writer ready and willing to work for free and gain exposure. Before I talk too much, I want to show you a sample script and story idea to showcase my abilities.
Title: Visions of War
Synopsis:
Visions of War is a fantasy adventure: the story of an epic struggle between humanity and itself, where a war brews, and innocent blood is spilled in vain, and the fate of the universe must be decided. Pandora, the first woman to curse this fictional land, represents the manifestation of the cursed beings roaming the planet. We don’t know exactly how many they are, but we just know that they live among us. There powers are extraordinary and even match the Royal Family’s. Each one of them possesses a unique gift, a curse.
The Royal Family was at war once with ancient, vengeful warriors known as the Proctors. As time passed and history changed, the Royal Family and the Proctors signed a treaty. The Royal Family was now protected by the once ancient, vengeful warriors now known as the Protectors. Animosity remained between the two, but a new evil arose through the years of peace.
Prince Ramos, the soon to be king, was forced to hide as evil spread across the land. His Kingdom swallowed in the pits of its darkness. With his Protector, Gastro, a cursed warrior, they are forced to travel the lands to find aid. In this journey, Prince Ramos must realize his destiny, otherwise succumb the world to a thousand years of darkness.
Genre: Visions of War, a gallant scientific tale roaming a fictional world, builds upon the idea of action, drama, romance, and above all, adventure.
Target Audience: The target audience is 14+. With stories like this, I think everyone can enjoy the mix of politics, war, and some romance. This quest will lead the reader through feeling heartache, disappointment, power, and learning a life lesson.
(Script Sample) Visions of War
This is assuming that an advertisement is on page one and the official page one really begins on page two.
Page 1:
PANEL ONE: A fiery ablaze is burning in the cool night air. Amidst the dusk, two silhouettes surround the blaze burning on firewood. It seems to be a camp fire, but make it obscure. Sitting around the flames holding mugs, they watch as it dance. (I was thinking an abstract drawing, but whatever drawing style you’re more comfortable with or think will do here will be fine.)
Silhouette 1: So, it’s true. You’re cursed, huh?
PANEL TWO: One of them (Silhouette 2) places their mug down.
PANEL THREE: Slowly, but surely, that same figure that placed the mug down, stretches a hand towards the fiery abyss.
PANEL FOUR: Sparks leap up, and it attacks the offending limb, the silhouette remains untouched, but the fire dances around the hand like a turbulent butterfly.
Silhouette 2: Yeah, and so is the whole damn world.
PANEL FIVE: We are drawn into the fire, and suddenly, the page is seemingly burning enthusiastically.
(Page 2 and Page 3) DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD: The camp fire begins painting the picture of an enflamed forest, and then, an enflamed warrior on horseback emerges through it. The horse is galloping through an opening and the warrior has his spear drawn. This panel gives the effect that the warrior and stead are chasing the reader (or towards the reader).
Sample End:
Now that you have seen some of my work, let me continue to tell you more about myself. My father, a huge comic book fanatic who lived in the mid-to-late Golden Age through Modern, began my interest and love for Comic Books. Those pages, those panels, and the words expressed in the comics he showed me, inspired myself into being a comic book writer. The stories he told me: Odin using up all of the power in his scepter, and then calling upon all of the beings of Asgard to aid him, gave me a vivid imagination and desire to dive into the realm of these supernatural stories and create my own.
Experience: I have no professional experience in the comic book world. I just have written several scripts that I have neither published nor sent as submissions. As a seventeen year old, I have a lot of free time to dedicate myself to writing, especially during the summer time.
My intentions: As mentioned before, I have a desire to work for free yet still provide amazing quality stories, and I hope that anyone who is interested, will let me. Even though I am young, I have a learned a lot about the Comic Book Business from others, and I want to learn more while working with more experienced or inexperienced people. I don't care if it's a comic book, Manga, or a web comic format, I just want to do what I love doing. What I expect or hope from others is a willingness to work hard, and at least (If working with one another), give me the payment of spreading word of my writing and name.
This script is a mixture of character driving force and in my opinion, a great plot. Also, I just wanted to say beforehand, other people are looking at this script, and if things are agreed upon, maybe will be made into a visual novel. Also, some people have offered to provide illustrations or a cover. The first issue (script) is completed and that is what some people are looking at. If you want to see it, I can provide it.
If interested...

Edit: I forgot to mention something. Even though I lean more as comic book writer, this script more suits a graphic novel as it has a beginning, middle, and end planned. I was planning to have it be a compilation of issues, but it works well, in my opinion, either way.
