Writer seeks collaboration

Hello.

I am the creator/writer of a comic strip that is published in a weekly newspaper which has a circulation of 7,200.
That number is still growing and we expect to more than double our readership as we move into 2013.

I am pleased to say the original artist has the good fortune to be offered an opportunity to pursue his own personal projects. However, I am now tasked with finding someone talented enough to take up the responsibilities of a lead artist, producing 2 or 3 strips for submission each week in his stead.

Each strip has traditionally been no more than 3-4 panels, black and white for dailies, color for specials or holidays. The art style would not have to match the previous artist's. After all, this would be your showcase and as such, should have your own flavor.

Ideally, I am searching for someone to collaborate with, sharing 50/50 profits while I shoulder the cost of advertising, webhosting, and conventions.
However, I understand that in today's economy, partnership has become increasingly difficult, and as such, am open to negotiating a modest fee for all completed works.

I am looking to begin immediate production of future strips and to this end; the offer is open now and is time sensitive.

This is an opportunity to take the lead on a definite long term project with tremendous opportunity for exposure and proven track record of success.

I just sent an email enquiring about this. It might have referenced the wrong website as the source of the ad, though - if it says digital webbing in the subject then I'm really sorry for any confusion caused. It's what comes of having too many sites open at once I guess.

My apologies, I didn't receive your inquiry. Will you re-send it?
