Due to the recent announcement by Comixology (http://blog.comixology.com/2012/10/11/c ... ublishing/), I've opened a new publishing company - Emerald Star Comics. I know everyone knows of Image Comics - well that is EXACTLY what we are going to do except we'll start in digital and then hopefully move to print.

Why use Emerald Star Comics?
1. Our editors will ensure your comics are top notch and error free. We want the comic industry to take note and that will help your comic career in the long run.
2. On staff writers can assist you (your team) with story lines, plots, and overall scripting.
3. On staff artists will be able to critique your sequential work and provide guidance on making the art flow with the story.
4. We'll be launching a major national advertising campaign. Emerald Star will be an industry recognized imprint so when people see your title with the Emerald Star imprint - they know they are getting quality and will be more apt to buy it.
5. Like Image Comics, all work is creator owned/operated. Emerald Star Comics will have no stake in your stories/characters/art/etc. Once you are accepted you will have no worry about us changing your product or taking it away.
6. You are free to end your work at Emerald Star at any time without financial penalty of any kind.

You get all of that and all we ask is a very low percentage of the sales (negotiated separately with each creator). What do you have to lose? This is your chance to really bust out of the amatuer playground and get in the ring with the pros. This is the beginning of a new era of comics and like Image Comics did over 20 years ago - Emerald Star will shake up the industry again.

Contact us immediately. We are looking to get 6 titles ready to go when Comixology Submit is launched. Emerald Star already has two self-owned titles ready for artwork so that leaves 4 titles open for the launch. Once launched we will be looking to boost the number of titles to 10 within the first 4 months so get your application in now.

If you are an artist looking for a team, let me know. I already have several great writers wanting to participate in this but they don't have an artist.

We are primarily looking for already established teams and books (PDF format) ready to be uploaded to Comixology Submit once they open.

I would be very interested in writing for ya. I have at least fifteen different characters I have created all of them as ongoing series. The only problem is that I need an artist.
