Make a facebook page for it, post updates on it, and spread it around!

It's a lot of work and it's not easy. Make a website if you don't have one. Contact anyone who might be willing to review it and post it anywhere you can, like here in the hype section and Digitalwebbing.com, Penciljack.com, etc. I think the best way is to hit as many conventions as you can, large or small.

I've been promoting my book for a while now and believe me, there is no quick fix.
Good Luck!

Pay for facebook marketing, pay for ad space in other peoples comics. You may consider producing your comic a page a week or twice a week as a webcomic and upload it to a webcomic database website like toptencomics or if its fantasy fantasycomicportal.com. This will get you hits as people follow the web series.

Get on podcasts...it worked for my book Risher. I got on I Sell Comics with Mike and Ming from comic book men and our first print sold out in a month.
