INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH AN ESTABLISHED AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR?

MY BIOGRAPHY:
Once a teen runaway, Jewel Kats is now a self-made Diva. Her closet is stuffed with fashion and beauty accessories. You'll catch her frolicking about with a hot pink elbow crutch. For six years, Jewel penned a syndicated teen advice column for Scripps Howard News Service (USA) and TorStar Syndication Service (Canada). She's won $20,000 in scholarships from Global Television Network and women's book publisher, Harlequin Enterprises. Jewel also interned in the TV studio of Entertainment Tonight Canada. Jewel was filmed in a documentary series by the Oprah Winfrey Network (Canada) in 2012. She’s authored, and sold 7 books.

THE POSITION:
I’ve successfully sold a graphic novel book outline to my American publisher. I’m seeking a graphic novel artist to illustrate the story. You’re guaranteed a book at the end, and 50% of all royalties. Neither of us, will get an advance in monies. My online comic distributor would also like to publish the graphic novel as a dramatic webtoon on weekly or twice weekly basis depending on your schedule.

THE STORY:
The story involves grade nine student, Moonsoon Sharma, who is a shoplifter-in-the-making, and desperate to fit into the “It” three-girl clique at school. The story takes place in Toronto, Canada. The working title is: “Swiped.”
